SPICY OLIVE OIL FOR THE MARCHÉS PUBLICS DE MONTRÉAL
The brief was to create a packaging concept for the Marchés Publics de Montréal that felt locally rooted while remaining sustainable. I developed Le Renard Rouge, a spicy olive oil inspired by the red fox—an animal that, like the product, brings unexpected heat with a playful edge.

The fox became more than the face of the product; it created a flexible visual language for the brand. Ingredients, expressions, and small details could shift across future flavours, giving each variation its own character while the fox, bold typography, and packaging structure keep the identity distinctly Le Renard Rouge.

Research began with a visit to the Jean-Talon Market, where I noticed a trend: strong individual brands, but little visual contrast between them. I aimed to break that visual monotony without ignoring the eco-conscious aesthetic common to the space. The result blends playful illustration with bold contrast and restrained materials.
